Illustration problem solving

Any creative knows it is hard to keep creating all the time. No one is immune to burn-out, not even when you love your job. This is why it is important to find ways to keep even your old work new. I love this painting I did for my husband of Moth Ma’am and Cthulhu. The painting however isn’t really something I can confidently use for projects that have the potential to bring money in like sticker or tees. The job of the illustrator is to be a problem solver. I might not be able to use the painting for everything, but I can certainly use my skills to take my traditionally made art and make it work in our digital world. Now I have two designs that can be used in a multitude of ways. This was the first in what will probably be many traditional works that will get vectored and tweaked to be used for as many projects as possible
